Returns

Important: All products sold on this site which come from USA, Japan or other over seas suppliers or manufacturers are sold on this site as Special Order items. This means that once you place your order, you cannot then cancel the order within our stated 14 days delivery timescale (longer for bodykits). Also, once the goods have been delivered to you, you cannot then return them to us for refund as they are special order items.

When selecting items from our online store please ensure you buy the correct part. Our site may display products in your car section which may not actually fit your specific car. Please ensure you are sure you want to purchase the item before submitting your order. It is your responsibility as the customer to know the item is the part you want. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer before placing your order with us. We will not accept any cancellation, refund or exchange for the product you ordered if it won't fit on your car through your error.

If, in the unlikely event that we sends you the wrong item through our mistake please notify us within 7 days of taking delivery of the item. We will then require the item to be returned to us. The item should be returned in 'as new' condition within 10 days. Once it arrives back with us we'll inspect for damage and replace or refund as appropriate. Postage on these returns will be refunded. If you dont inform us within 7 days, or return the item to us within 10 then no refund/replacement will be available.

If your purchase was damaged in-transit to you then you need to notify us within 7 days of taking delivery of the item. Please inspect your goods as soon as they arrive with you. In the case of a courier delivery, do not sign for the item until you check it's condition as no refund can be made if you sign for it. If the item was delivered through Royal Mail then we will claim on your behalf through the normal Royal Mail claims process.

For all other cases we may consider offering a refund, replacement or credit within 7 days of you taking delivery of the item. Returns will only be accepted if goods are in new, unused condition and in original packaging. Postage/shipping will not be refunded.

We will not accept returns for goods which were sold as special offers either on this site or anywhere else or for sales through eBay Buy It Now or Auctions, unless we specifically said so in writing prior to dispatch.

Warranty

No ' CHIP-IT warranty' is available. Items are supplied 'as is' and come with no guarantee from us. Fitting these parts to you car may void it's warranty. CHIP-IT accepts no liability for damage to your car caused by any of these parts. Some of these parts may be for show use only and not for use on public roads. If in doubt, please ask before ordering. Your statutory rights are not affected by any CHIP-IT disclaimers.

Items which come with manufacturer's warranty are still covered by their warranty.

Please Note we will not accept returns for goods which were delivered to the customer more than 14 days before notification of a fault. The only exception to this is for items with manufacturer warranties where replacements may be available. If in doubt, contact us before ordering items from us if you require further information regarding warranties.

Return Address

Please email us for our returns address specific to your order as this may differ to our company address.

Please Note in all cases also include your address and a note of why the item is being returned. Also do not return an item to us before you have contacted CHIP-IT regarding the issue first.
